What makes a sign “conspicuous”?

Hello everyone. I’m a new CCW permit holder and have been studying up on the laws in my state. I live in Ohio and according to the Ohio revised code an establishment may choose to not allow ccw‘s by showing a conspicuous sign on their entrance. However, a couple days ago I walked into a restaurant while carrying. It wasn’t until I was leaving that I noticed a sign on the lower left corner of the glass door that had a picture of a gun with a cross through it. The thing is this sign not only was easy to miss but it was actually on the second door into the restaurant after walking through the first. My question is does that actually count as “conspicuous”? This sign was tiny and literally at the very bottom corner of the door. Now, I intend to honor any wishes of that establishment and will make sure not to carry inside the restaurant but what would the consequences be if LE were to get involved? Does that really qualify as a conspicuous sign? I didn’t even notice it until I was walking out and happened to glance at the bottom of the glass door. Thank you guys for your help and I apologize if this is a dumb question. I am eager to carry but want to do it in a lawful and respectful way. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2iTJzFm
