In 2 weeks I'm turning 21 and I asked my teachers who are retired LEOs on what pistols they recommend for a new CCW carrier who doesn't have much knowledge on pistols. One of my teacher's said "Go with the Glock 19 it's basically an idiots gun and it's a good edc gun but make sure to get plenty of training and get comfortable with carrying one in the chamber". I live in Phoenix Arizona going to college and basically 5 of 130 people that are armed (I own a Smith and Wesson M&P Sport 2 AR and Mossberg 870 short barrel with a flashlight on it) in the apartments I'm staying in.I have about 1k to spend since I've been saving for any parts and ammo for some months now.So should I go with the Glock 19 or go with a different pistol that you guys recommend ?Should I go with new recommended parts, concealed holsters or accessories right off the bat or save up so I can become comfortable with my pistol first ? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2km30a3
