I noticed recently that Freedom Munitions has started manufacturing and selling JHP ammunition for a few handgun calibers that they've designed for hunting, self defense, and law enforcement applications. They range from 3-10 cents cheaper than the Hornady XTP rounds they load, and they seem to be high quality. I decided to purchase 100 rounds, and my initial impression is that they may be better than the Hornady XTP, Gold Dots, and Federal HST rounds I've used in the past - of course, looks can be deceiving.I may be premature in asking this, especially considering how new they are, but does anybody have any experience with this ammunition? There's literally nothing available online about it, there aren't any reviews on their website yet, and no ballistics information has been made available by anyone in the community to date.
