Based on rave reviews for a different Vedder holster, I ordered a IWB holster for my oldest HK P30S. Received holster on Monday, found weapon retention, when not wearing the holster, to be too light. If you tipped the holster at an angle where gravity was pulling against the weapon, the weapon would fall right out. Just to be clear, if I was actually wearing the holster, body pressure against the leather backing was sufficient to securely hold the weapon during routine movement.Has anyone experienced retention issues with this model or is it just an expectation issue on my part? As there were no adjustable retention screws, I tightened the holster by heating and slightly re-shaping the Kydex. The shape is a little funky on one edge (had to slightly fold the material to take up some “slack”) but it works fine now.
