Hello redditors. I am in CA and will be applying for my CCW. I am looking for advice on actually carrying. I am a short female who is slightly overweight. I also always have my kids with me. Is a carry purse the best to start with or is a holster? What’s your experience like carrying when you have your children with you? I am slightly nervous to start carrying just due to the stigma surrounding it but personal protection is huge for me especially because of the amount of kidnappings happening nationwide and in my own community.
