Get politically active - Support Concealed Carry Reciprocity, being voted on this week!

Hello all, WA Guns poster here, see my first informational thread here. It's such a strange thing when our state government is signaling that they will be infringing on our rights, and the federal government is the only one who can stop it. Throughout most of our lives it's been the other way around.HR 38 Concealed Carry Reciprocity is up for a vote this week in the US House. This is the most important positive gun development that would ever happen in most of our lifetimes after the sunset of the AWB. Contact your federal representatives to support this bill! I'd recommend saying something similar to:"Hi NAME, Please vote for and support H.R. 38, the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017.Our fundamental right to keep and bear arms should not end at the state line. This legislation would ensure that law-abiding citizens such as myself do not lose the ability to protect ourselves when we travel from state to state. Currently we face a patchwork of laws that allow anti-gun states and jurisdictions to harass travelers for legally exercising their constitutional rights.So again, as a strong supporter of our Second Amendment rights, I am urging you to support and vote for H.R. 38."Staying engaged with your representatives, local, state, and national, will help show them you're active and vote to support the 2nd amendment. This is one of those steps. With our help, this has a good chance of passing the House. The Senate is another battle.In order to pass the Senate, we would need ALL Republicans and 8 Democrats.
