I've been thinking about getting my license to carry for around a year now but some recent events have made me want to get the ball rolling. I have some concerns that are holding me back, I'm a PA resident and I commute about 25 miles into NY for work about 6 days a week. I want to get into the habit of carrying everyday but I don't want to get into trouble with the law just because of NY's anti-gun policies. Hopefully I will have a career change that will relocate me into a more gun friendly area within the next 6 months. Given that and the difficulty of getting an non-resident permit in NY I don't really see that as an option. Is there some middle ground I can do? Locking the gun up in my car until I cross the PA border? something like that? What would you do? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2p4jNDJ
