Jet blue doesn't like ammo locked up in the same container as the gun when being checked but short pockets are cool!

Flying to DCA from FLL and I checked my carry gun with 3 mags in my little gunsafe. Lady on the phone had told me that it would be fine but the guy at the counter said ammo can't be in the same place... I didn't have any pockets or containers in the bag so I put them in my board shorts zipped pocket... Cause that's safer than a locked gunsafe right? Right. I'm normally annoyed by stupid rules that are not safer but this one made me laugh.No one but the agent checked the gun btw. Super fast. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2pGYjtU
