I've had a Walther PPX for over 4 years now. I know all the hate on it being "ugly" (Not IMO) but I love that thing. Its now the Nightstand Weapon for me. Bought it before I joined the army and will probably never get rid of it. Great trigger, ergonomics, and it was my first firearm.I've known for some time I was interested in CC but with joining the army, it wasn't really possible with Basic training and AIT. Until I finally settled in with my wife, in GA at my first duty station. Finally got around to buying a Walther PPS M2, applied for my Georgia Weapons Carry License and bought a StealthGear Revolution IWB holster. I've decided to carry around 4 O'clock.I am still waiting on the License, but in GA as a member of the Armed forces I don't need one. So I've already started carrying. I Did take it to the range a few times before I started to carry it as well. Gotta be familiar with the firearm. I Love these Walther products.Did my Wally Walk with the wife and I was surprised. It wasn't on my mind as I had expected at all. It wasn't uncomfortable as I expected. Just wore some jeans and a T-shirt and I wasn't printing. I didn't tell my wife until halfway through the visit just to see if she would notice. Of course she didn't and then I had her watch me do normal actions throughout the rest of our trip. Its been about a week now and so far so good. My only issue is when I work on my draw I have difficulty reholstering my firearm. I'm not sure why but I think that I may need to just wear my pants a little higher. Still haven't added my flair to the subreddit because I think I'm still a noob. HAHAOn another note*I find it completely absurd that my (if I am not mistaken it is the same with all of them) military installation (base) doesn't allow us to carry firearms in any capacity on base. Not even in the vehicle. Its a little ironic to me.Input and suggestions appreciated. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2qMzJL7
