"You're 94% more likely to injure your family than to actually use a gun for self defense"

So basically I have a friend that keeps spouting off that you're much more likely to get your family hurt than to be in a situation where you need to defend yourself if you own a weapon. Like a kid will take it and hurt someone, just really stupid stuff that I know actually doesn't happen. He never sources this "fact".I'm don't currently carry, but every time I bring up wanting to he just spews nonsense and it's quite annoying. I don't think he's ever even fired a weapon before.I can't seem to find any good sources on gun injuries on pew, just homicides. Does anyone have a good study I can throw at him? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/28LfOCy
