I'm in Texas and I applied to get my CHL. After everything was done they sent me a file saying they needed more information from a court case in 2011 when I got caught with weed and stupidly admitted to dealing. At the end of the trial the judge lowered the charge to possession of paraphernalia. This is my only smudge on am otherwise clean record.
