Just got my CCW Permit in Connecticut. Questions about other states?

I spend a lot of time in Rhode Island and Massachusetts but it seems they don't honor the CT permit. I also have family in Tennessee and Oklahoma. My understanding is that CT permits are honored in Alaska, Arizona, Connecticut, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont so this means i can carry but can i purchase in these states?
