The past few months I have been studying at my University library throughout the night and am starting to feel concerned. You see before I got my CCW I was oblivious to how vulnerable I truly was. When I'm out in town or getting drinks it doesn't bother me but for some reason the library is starting to make me nervous. After 11pm you need a student ID to get in however it is not a problem following another student in. There is only 1 exit/entrance and they have a guard who is there unarmed with a radio about 10 yards from the door, typically someone out of shape and not impressive. My problem is this. If bad guy get's in the door I have 0 chance. Even if the guard asks for ID it won't really matter because they would already be in. What if bad guy doesn't even have a firearm, say a large ass knife or taiser? If I carry to the library I could get in BIG trouble if caught.I don't carry because I know it will save my life, I carry because it gives me a chance which is all I feel I can ask for.Question:What kind of trouble am I looking at if caught? Pro's and Con's? Worth it? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/1X0Bii8
