The anti-gun lobby is quick to drag the crying families of victims into court houses and senate floors, parading them in front of juries and legislators, to accomplish their mission./r/CCW will not.The anti-gun lobby is quick to use rage, anger, and appeal to crushed emotions during times of sorrow./r/CCW will not.After a mass shooting, on a college campus or in public, we have chosen to implement a 24-hour halt on the discussion of the shooting. We are doing this in respect to the grieving families, and so we do not jump at the opportunity of using their strife to further a political agenda. There will be plenty of opportunity to discuss 2A politics, the reason(s) behind the shooting, what might have changed if a lawful carrier was present, and everything else in the coming days and weeks after a mass shooting, but not is not the appropriate time.
