So, I just watched the video for the Station Nightclub fire (NSFL, you have been warned), and when reading the wiki article, I found this:Furthermore, a number of survivors later stated that a bouncer stopped people trying to escape via the stage exit, stating that that door was "for the band only."My question is this:If you were in a burning building, and someone is actively and willfully preventing you from exiting, could lethal force against them be justified? The way I see it is, you could escape through that exit, were it not for that person trying to keep you from doing that. You don't know the condition of the other exits, though it's safe to assume that you wouldn't be able to escape through them due to the log jam of people that are probably at each one. And to top it all off, in less than a minute, you could be unconscious due to smoke inhalation. Your only options are to either force your way out through the exit you're at, or run back in, and hope to god that you can get out somewhere else. What are your thoughts on this? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/1U6AkPk
