Hi guys. I'm working at a very large pharmaceutical facility (5000+ employees) and their policy is no weapons on the premises at all, period. This is tough for me, since I carry a concealed firearm often and have carried a pocketknife on me most of my life. For the first time since I was a child, I feel naked without any sort of weapon on me.Anyway, the HR person told an anecdote about how a manager kept a golf club near his desk just to have something. So this made me think, and I thought I'd ask you guys the question: what can I bring to work that won't be labeled a weapon, but would be formidable if I ever needed it? I looked around my workspace and the best I could find to use if an emergency arose was a tape dispenser (not ideal, by any means!)Appreciate your thoughts guys.EDIT: Though this might differ from the subreddit topic a bit, this doesn't need to be a concealable weapon that I carry. I can simply keep it in my desk drawer. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/25KpYZc
