I'm about to become a first time conceal carrier, and I have a few questions for the community. I am ex military like many of you, so part of being prepared is prediction of environment, and situations. I am reading as much as FAQ as possible but it seems like no one is addressing the noise factor of CCW. The area I live in can be a mix of rural and city environments stricken with drug abusers and similar criminals and I foresee the situation where I might be near a robbery but not necessarily the immediate victim and might be able to intervene to save a life, where the police would not be able to make it in time. I mean this in the very exact sense of being a life or death situation where action needs to be taken, not like busting into a neighbors apartment to shoot a domestic abuser, the police can handle that. The point of conceal carrying is so no one knows I am armed but what I have notice is a lot of holsters, [particularly the plastic ones] make a lot of noise when drawing. Am I the only one to think this could be an issue? I will be carrying a Taurus pt111 G2 with a spare 17 round full mag. If anyone else has ideas or has something to recommend I would be grateful.tl;dr - A silent holster option to minimize the noise of drawing and holstering my pt111 g2 taurus. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/1SNzOoy
