Question about defense of a third party?

First and foremost, I am stationed in Las Vegas, Nevada and I am an enlisted member of the U.S. Air Force. In Nevada they have a "stand your ground law" which allows civilians to defend themselves using lethal force as long as they have a legal right to be there. My question is, my girlfriend works graveyard shift at a fast food restaurant that has been robbed numerous times in the last year at gunpoint. My girlfriend has downloaded an app on her phone that allows her to keep her finger on the screen of her phone and if she releases it for more than 30 seconds it notifies the police and up to 3 preset contacts; one of them being me. The place where she works does not have any silent alarms and she works alone on graveyard. My main question is, being the owner of a Mossberg 500 shotgun, and being 3 minutes away from where she works, would I legally be allowed to respond to this alarm of hers with shotgun in hand to attempt to defend her if the need arises? And what would the repercussions be if I used deadly force to defend her or myself in the situation. My main concerns are either her being shot or possibly raped as bad as that sounds.
