Never Carry in a Backpack without a Holster

I went for a run today, usually I leave my Sig P938 in the kydex holster and drop it into my backpack when I go for a run, but this time I figured I'd just drop it into the pouch without the holster to make drawing a little simpler.At the end of the run I removed the Sig P938 from the backpack and placed it on my desk, but I realized that the safety had somehow become disengaged in the backpack. This has never happened before, as it's usually in the holster when I do this.Lesson for the day: never carry a gun without a good holster.
