I have a CCP in PA, and I'll be driving from here to Wyoming soon. I want to bring two handguns with me. I haven't figured out which states along the way are reciprocal with PA (I will before the trip!).But in the meantime, how do you travel through states like Illinois, etc. with excessively strict gun laws? Is it enough to have the guns in the trunk and the ammo in the car? Or is it ok to have both in the trunk if the gun isn't loaded? Or both in the car (again, unloaded)?I'd appreciate any help.
