Good interaction with LEO

Today I went through a license checkpoint and was pleasantly surprised by how the officer responded to me having a CCW. I live in NC so I have to inform that I carry and I have had a couple of bad experiences with cops acting like they don't think us common folk should be allowed to carry guns. This officer was different though. After taking my license and permit he looked at it then asked me " Do you know how to use that thing?". I simply responded "Yes sir". I figured this would be the part were he said some smart ass comment but to my surprise he said "Good, if you ever hear me yell shoot then you better help me". Then he told me to have a good day and I left. It always makes me happy when I meet an officer who supports us and respects us for carrying a firearm. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/1T4U8nq
