BUG thoughts/shield

I had purchased a shield a while back with the intentions of carrying it as a BUG. I had planned on carrying it in in my front pocket. It works well in some of my shorts/cargo pants, but not so practical in jeans. Also bought it for a deep cover gun, which it works perfect for. Now to the questions. My reasons for carrying a BUG are for failure of my main gun, somehow get disarmed (shouldn't happen but can't hurt to plan for), but mainly to arm a friend/family member should the need arise. My friends and family are competent with firearms, just not all of them choose to carry.How many of you actually carry a BUG?How many of you carry your BUG in a pocket vs IWB along with your main gun IWB?My ideal option is pocket carry for a BUG, I'm just trying to avoid buying another gun at the moment, not that I don't want to. If I deem the shield too big for a BUG, I'd probably look at a LCP, or a body guard. Any suggestions to work around the size of the shield would be appreciated via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/272gqdF
