Buying a holster with a cutout for RDS before having RDS

As title indicates, would I have issues with pistol fit/retention if I bought and used a holster for a RDS before habit. The RDS mounted? Basically trying to future proof a purchase. If it’s not a good idea I won’t obviously. Just wanted to check if it’s okay. TIA! via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/37q0Tv0
