Okay, so something happened today & idk how I would have handled it if it had progressed into something bigger. Would like your guys take on it.So I CC every day. At work or just going to get milk, dosnt matter. Well today my lawn crew is short one guy so I'm with them, helping them get a property done. The property is in a very bad neighborhood (to say the least) homeless people, drug addicts. There is honestly always cops on this block every time we are there.Well so what happen was, I finish mowing and I look back to see where my crew is & I notice one of them was arguing with someone behind the building. So I ride the mower over to them to see what's going on. I can now hear my crew member telling the guy to just get lost and leave him alone. By this time the homeless guy is off of the curb and into the street. He was holding something behind his back the whole time & I noticed it as soon as I got there. The street he was in, is a 3 lane 1 way. So now all of a sudden the homeless guy pulls out a 3-4 ft stick from behind his back (could have been a cane but idk). He started swinging it at my crew member, he missed 4 swings while my guy was backing up dodging them. And that's when the light turned green & traffic was holding there horn at him. He ran across the street to the other side, said a few words and didn't come back. But what if he did & didn't stop trying to attack? Idk if that would even bring me to brandish my firearm to him to make him chill out. I think now more of it that I carry this every day to protect my kids more then anything.( I didn't brandish my firearm, I was more of trying to de-escalate the homeless guy but he wasn't listening to anything) the guy has mental health issues. He's always around that property when we are there.Just want to see what you guys have to think. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3B9Y3Hk
