Question about carrying behind enemy lines

Let's say someone works somewhere where it's illegal to carry, like a bank. now upon leaving work and walking to their car, someone tries to rob them or something and the bank employee pulls out a gun and shoots the robber. the shooting is deemed justified. now my question is, can the bank employee be prosecuted for carrying inside the bank since there was no way they could've acquired the firearm upon leaving the bank? the camera footage would show them walking out of the bank and the robber got to them before they got to their car so the bank employee couldn't say that they got it out of their car. I've been thinking about this scenario for a couple days and I was just wondering what everyone else's thoughts were. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3jgDoLo
