I’ve been meaning to ask about this for a while. When I took my CPL class, my instructor was a retired (not old, just retired) local sheriff’s deputy and trainer. He is certified to train with Glock as well. He mentioned that he does not like weapon mounted lights, because bad guys can just shoot at lights, since they know what’s behind them. He gave an example of a deputy that was shot in the wrist instead of in the chest, because he had a flashlight help up and away from his body.
