Is there ever a situation that would justify firing a handgun out of a moving vehicle?

Recently someone was telling me of a road rage incident where two men fired weapons at each other while driving down the freeway and one of them got off on a self-defense claim. My question is what kind of situation would actually justify firing out of a moving vehicle and does it matter if it's a "stand your ground" or "duty to retreat" state? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2H18YKJ
