Don't announce that you have called 911

Seeing a recent post made me want to say this.If you are in a situation where you are dealing with someone who is being unreasonable or "crazy", don't tell them you've called 911. There are tons of stories where telling someone that you've called the police will actually make them act worse. Make the call and try to handle the situation as best you can until the authorities arrive (if they do).This is entirely my opinion and many might disagree with it, but there are plenty of times when announcing that you've called 911 will not help anything. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2DbRZ7R
