It's my fervent hope that reports of sworn Broward County Deputies waiting outside during the shooting turn out to be wrong. Either way, the situation dredges up an old question for the people on this subreddit who would consider intervention for others outside your immediate family.Have you really thought this through? Are you clear about which circumstances would justify intervention? Are your family, religious, legal, and social questions thoroughly examined and resolved one way or the other?If your thinking is that you'll never intervene, there's no need to comment. You have thought about it, and come to a rational resolution that is right for you.
