I'm sure many of us think about scenarios and what ifs.So let's set this one up.Parking lot at night. You are walking towards car and less than friendly individual appears 20 ft away, pulls out knife and demands your money.You pull out your carry and say "no go away now, and I am calling the police."The individual doesn't respond and attempts to rush you.You discharge your weapon into the individual, who falls. You then call the police. Before the police arrive, the individual gets up somehow and runs away.You aren't going to pursue the individual, but you must explain this now to the police.Now in this scenario I am sure there are steps that you could take to prevent this from getting to this point or some hyperbole, but as we all know, plans can go sideway.
