I don't have my CCW license yet and I'd like to carry some sort of weapon in the meantime. I've already got a stun gun flashlight, some pepper spray, and I'm working on getting a knife, but a knife seems a bit impractical for various reasons. I thought that a collapsible baton would be my best bet, but after looking at laws in Louisiana where I live, it's a grey area. Batons are legal to open carry but not conceal carry since it's considered a deadly weapon as noted here: http://ift.tt/2BdcifP there any sort of weapon that would be legal for me to conceal carry other than a knife?
