In a short barrel 9mm which would be better 115gr or 147gr.

I know the 147gr is a little snappier in my CPX-2 because I have fired Hornady American Gunner JHP standard pressure in both grains. What I want is performance in a self defense situation, I can find no head to head gel tests with the same bullet design.
