I bought a Shield 9mm as my first CCW back in June when they had the $75 rebate going on. I hate many things about it. How it is a single stack, how it is so thin, the 8 round mag, my slide is ungodly stiff even after 1000 rounds and proper maintenance, the trigger, and I just overall have come to really loath carrying this gun. I bought it with the mind set that I am a really skinny guy and a single stack thin gun would fair me well but I have been bulking up, and have come to realize an extra few mm's thickness wont do anything when carrying for me personally. After carrying it since then, I've come to hate it.I beat myself up every day for not picking up a Glock 19 instead. 90% of the time I just carry my LCP 2 and leave the shield at home. I honestly think I am going to gift my self a new Glock 19 for Christmas. I probably wont be able to get any value out of the shield since they're being picked up pretty cheap everywhere, and it would basically be losing money if I sold it. I think I may just let it gather dust or give it to my gf.I am curious if any of you had a shield as their carry gun but ended up switching it out with something else. It seems to be a very popular gun but I ended up not liking it at all. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2B2uYlC
