I'm thinking of picking up a S&W 442 soon for pocket carry/OWB carry with a long shirt. I live in Texas and and can legally carry concealed or open, but open carry requires more retention, so a strap or a button on a holster is necessary. If I carry OWB, I'd like to use a simple leather holster with no strap - my question is, would that be allowed?
