Need some advice... not the usual.

So in the last week ive had a co-worker and my boss both make off hand comments about me having a gun/ carrying. I know that both of these people are semi good friends with a customer of ours that is a sheriffs deputy (he doesnt know that I know hes a cop). Now, I have never said anything to my boss or coworker in any way talking about guns at all - ever-. Which is why Im 99% positive this cop told them I have my CHL which really pisses me off. Call me paranoid or whatever but Im a very private person and its absolutely not his business to be spreading my personal info around, in fact I would bet its illegal or at very least against policy. Im thinking about confronting this guy on monday when he comes in. Just casually asking (not blaming him) if he knows how these two people could find out and see how he reacts, he'll be surprised to know I know hes a cop, lol.The reasons I think (pretty sure) it was him are, 1) he works for the county sheriffs department which conveniently is where you apply for your CHL 2) in my state we have to list our employer on the chl application. 3) hes friends with my boss and with the particular coworker. 4) ive been carrying for 5 months and all the sudden in one week two separate people make comments to me.Does anyone know anything about policies or laws about cops giving out personal information? I doubt theres any way I can prove he told them but I want to let him know somehow that I know and that its bullshit what he did. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2oNpllB
