I'm 6ft, 170lbs. Thin build, med/large hands. I plan on AIWB carry. Wife has a Shield 1.0. I don't shoot it well. She is lights out with it.I found a great deal on a shield plus, and read the reviews on the improvement in grip and trigger, and bought one. I have basically the same issues as the 1.0. I consistently pull low left. I've put probably 500 rounds through the gun, but it just doesn't fit well in hand and I have a hard time getting enough hand purchase on the pistol. It's not enjoyable to shoot in any way.I don't generally have that issue with any of my other handguns. About the smallest pistol that I have that I shoot well is a M&P 2.0 Compact 9 w/4" barrel. Most others are medium / full size and I have no problems (a handful of pistols across a handful of manufacturers - G19 G17 VP9 P320 TP9SF E, etc).I'm looking through the tons and tons of options out there and think I've narrowed it down. We live in a remote town, so a range or rental isn't really an option.I'm looking at the Canik TP9 SC ( I have a TP9 Elite and really enjoy it), trying to CCW the M&P compact I already own, or a G43x. I've looked into the P365 series however it looks like their grips are no larger than the Shield, if not smaller - and even though I like shooting my Sigs I think it'll be the same situation as the shield plus for me.My question is I know the Canik has a "thicker" slide - is the grip also thicker? If it is, that goes a long way to fill my hands. Are there any other options I should consider based on my build and what works for me now? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3s2WtUc
