Hey guys so this may be completely stupid but I felt like I got a bit of win, and felt some validation about it, along with honestly some relief. The situation was with my work, I started this job oh about 5 months ago now, and it's really great, I'm making more money than I've ever made before in my life and have good benefits. The hours are tough to get used to, but I do get lots of time off so it works out. But anyways, so around when I first got hired, the.... I guess you'd call her like a safety manager? Idk, she's just a lady that's in charge of safety for the plant, but she was doing my training and she was very adamant that NO GUNS were allowed in the facility, "okay yeah makes sense", AND ON THE PROPERTY AT ALL! "Well now wait a second, I can keep my gun in my car, because well it's my car and state law specifically says that my employer cannot stop me from having my firearm in my vehicle, even on their property, (except like federal employers and some other exceptions)".This lady went off on me about this, "NO NO NO! COMPANY POLICY IS THIS, AND BLAH BLAH... we can search your car if we have suspicion you OWN (she said own, yes I didn't like that) a gun and have it at work"So after some more bickering and back and forth I realized she wasn't changing her mind and wouldn't take two mins to look it up like I encouraged her to, so I just let it go and thought we'll I'll just make sure to be extra careful and keep it on the DL.... well fast forward to the other day at our little safety meeting we had and she goes "hey I was wrong about this, bla bla bpa" to the whole group, of course not directly to me and not maybe ya know, apologizing, not for being wrong as fuck, that's whatever, no but for being kinda an asshole about the whole thing. But hey, a win is a win... I'll take it, and the whole time she was telling the group about this stuff I was sitting there just smiling, looking at her like, ohhh yeah, that sweet satisfaction.... via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2X787Ce
