I’m moving from Minnesota to North Carolina for medical school in June. I’m a valid permit holder here in MN. North Carolina acknowledges the MN permit, but I’m so confused about the validity of my MN permit. Once I officially establish NC residence is my MN permit void? It would make sense that since they have reciprocity, it would be good until expired in a few years and then I’d get the NC permit. Sorry if this is a stupid question, just a little confused.
