So I'm familiar with how a transfer bar safety works. What I am not familiar with is whether or not revolver with a transfer bar safety, when dropped on it's muzzle(like a series 70 1911) will the firing pin have enough inertia to "drop" and set off a round?I'm talking about modern snubbies.Looking at all the options at my local academy and none of them seem to have a means to block the firing pin in such a scenario.I know about the transfer bar not allowing the hammer to make contact- I think the term I'm looking for is inertia fire? Can anyone offer insight? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2CHLdUG
