I work at a Country Club in central Florida. Yesterday, I got a call from the Pro-shop that someone had left a gun in the parking lot. His lunch box fell off his bumper as he was leaving and a young girl turned it in to the Pro-shop. When he realized his lunch box was missing he called the Pro-shop and let them know there was a gun in it. The Pro-shop called me because they know I shoot, and I was the only manager on property at the time. I took the lunch box into my office, located the gun, and called the guest in question back to let him know we had it secured. The guy turned out to be a retired sheriff deputy and was a really nice guy.
