To clarify: I already have a CCW, I am not looking for CCW certification classes, just to further my skill.Alright. So I've finally reached a point financially where I can afford a class or two. I generally stick to going innawoods because I'm broke, and I can at least run and move in the woods to mix up my static "work on my technique" shooting and so my buzzer won't annoy others. But as I'm looking in to the classes near me it all seems... gimmicky. The pictures and descriptions of the instructors and courses just don't seem professional. One course has the employees kitted out in multicam with plate carriers and two of them are holding wooden hunting rifles. Meanwhile, another lists "studied under Chuck Norris" as one of his certifications and touts teaching martial arts more than firearm training.I've got some basic military pistol "training" (qual'd low expert) and some MOUT with a pistol as well. I know I could use more, but I'm afraid to waste money because, well I don't have a lot of it. Am I better off waiting until someone else travels near by and trying to grab a seat? (And maybe saving more for a better experience) Or am I expecting too much out of this? Feel free to tell me I'm a dumb. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2PU5E61
