Best way to open carry in a car legally

So I'm not legally allowed to carry concealed yet however I can open carry if i dont have one in the chamber per Arizona laws. Within a car the firearm has to be visible and I believe also in a holster. The dilemma I run into is I dont want my gun to be on my dash since it would get stolen before anything. So I was thinking of the most effective way to have my gun in my car to where it would be usable if needed and a little less chance of getting stolen but at the same time visible enough for a police offer during a traffic stop. My first idea was a gun magnet next to my shifter console on the inside. This way it would be visible to an officer and would be within arms reach when I decide to open carry within my car.
