Let me preface this by saying: I don't give a shit what you carry, if you want to pirate carry ten flintlocks on a big bandolier go for it, and please be friends with me cause that sounds awesome.But for general everyday clomping around:The chances of needing a firearm at all are fantastically low, and even then, the chances of having to fire it are pretty low, and then the chance of having the malfunction is infintesimal, assuming you're carrying ammo you know feeds well through the gun.
