I have a Guard Dog Security Stealth Stun Gun that I carry in my purse, when walking my dog, etc. I am flying Delta Airlines from Dulles Airport in Virginia to Hartsfield-Jackson in Atlanta, GA later this month. According to the TSA website, stun guns are allowed in checked baggage; I am planning on calling Delta to confirm I can check my stun gun when flying. However, I can't find any information from reputable sources regarding the legality of carrying a stun gun in Georgia and more specifically, in the actual city of Atlanta. I know Atlanta has strict laws regarding firearms, permits, etc. so I wanted to see what the rules are on stun guns.
