Is it better to be ALWAYS armed with a "slow" holster like a fanny pack? or occasionally armed with a "fast" holster?

here's a questionIs it better to be ALWAYS armed with a "slow" holster like a fanny pack? or occasionally armed with a "fast" holster?i have heard stories from some guys that the fanny pack is the greatest gun carrying device mankind has ever made simply because they take their fanny pack everywhere because it not only has their gun, but their wallet, phone and keys all in the same pack, so they take it everywhere, to the store, to school, to work, to the bathroom, to the shower, to bed, they wear it while working in the kitchen or the garden, or on the car, they simply ALWAYS have their fanny pack on them because it's so comfortable and convenient. and anytime they hear a noise in the middle of the night all they need to do is slap the fanny pack on and they are good to go. but i asked you guys what you thought about fanny packs earlier and i got a lot of responses about how fanny packs are a bad holster, and i don't necessarily agree with that, i agree that they are a "slow" holster, and that they take a lot of time to get the gun out and actually use it compared to "fast" holsters.i think the point of the fanny pack is to be a "slow" holster, it's to have an astonishingly convenient, comfortable, effective, concealed way to ALWAYS have a gun on you AT ALL TIMES, and that the fanny pack is not made or designed to be a combat "fast" holster, it's designed to be used to store your back up gun while your main gun is the normal one on your hipwhat do you think about that? that it's not fanny pack or traditional holsters, it's fanny pack AND traditional holster?and when it boils down to it, for CCW, is it better to ALWAYS be armed with a "slow" holster that takes a while to get the gun out? or sometimes be armed with a "quick draw mcgraw" "fast" holster?i honestly think it's better to always be armed with a "slow" holster then occasionally be armed with a "fast" one, but that's me. what do you think? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/8yN5Lsz
