Question i would love answered

Without naming names. I have a “hypothetical?” say, an individual is attacked by 3 people and 1 of which, has a Glock 27. And said individual was forced to defend himself thereby killing 2 out of the 3 chasings him. Invoking a long and tiering lawsuit in which said individual was found to be within their rights to defend and was decided a “clean shoot”. Would that then make the surviving attacker a criminal? And should that person be liable for restitution or should then be found guilty of attempted murder or assult or something? I feel like if there is a party of 2 and one is on trial for self defense it would automatically leave the other at fault? Right?
