HI, I'm having difficulty trying to find the answer for this issue. I'm Trying to take my CCW that has a red dot and weapon light mounted on the pistol, on a plane. Will this be ok or will I have to remove them from the firearm and place the red dot and weapon light in my carry on? I'm just a little confused because TSA says batteries are not allowed in checked bags but I'm wondering if anyone else has experience with this issue.
