Walmart interaction

Guys so a month ago I went to buy some breakfast at McDonald's before work really fast, its one of the ones that are inside of the Walmart, anyway I was going to go camping that weekend up north so I thought I should buy some thermal to wear under my jacket because its was 30° at the place we were going, so I was rushing through the aisles and there was only one guy there and I passed him maybe twice, (I was rushing so I can pick up my food) I got to the end of the aisle to see if the thermals were there and the man was there facing his back to me. I never looked or spoke to him. He turns around and mutters something looking at me, I say "what", and he responds, "wtf are you staring at" im like "nothing?"(confused), then he comes closer and says "do we have a fcking problem" (stupidest child response felt like im in high school ) and I try making a joke, "um not unless you are selling these thermals for 50% less than Walmart then no" he didn't understand anything im guessing, so he comes even closer and repeats himself "do we have a fucking problem", I say, dude just f*ck off idk wtf you are talking about", he then steps a little closer and quickly put his hands in his hoody pockets and I quickly panic and lift my jacket revealing my carry.. now Idk if it was right thing to do but he saw the gun before I even reached for it and stopped (I really was not going to draw unless I saw for sure he had a weapon) ( his shoe squeaked from stopping) and he said "bitch" while shaking his head and walked off.....I feel like he was stealing maybe? And thought I was spying on him?? Either way one of the stupidest interactions ever, and God forbid if something happened it would have been for a really dumb thing.Either way I got worried he would pull a knife or gun on me if he hadn't reached in his hoody I wouldn't have exposed myself, im not a trouble starter. After what happened I was ok with the results but it could have been worst idk what do you guys think?
