Moved to TX 2 months ago. Do I need LTC?

I just moved from NC to TX 2 months ago. I also just turned in my NC DL in exchange for my new TX DL. I still have my NC LTC, and I know TX acknowledges NC permits....but now that I’m technically a TX resident can I continue to carry with my NC permit, or do I need to apply for a TX permit?Hope that makes sense.
