My incident

About a month ago I went with a friend to look at some guitars. When we got into the parking lot I saw what I originally thought was a altercation between kids. I was wrong. I could tell it was serious really quick. I told my friend to get over there quick. 5 on 1 none of the 5 were over 30 3 males 2 females, all looked like trouble. Their victim was roughly mid forties but you could tell me she was 30 or 60 and I would believe you. They were stomping her head into the pavement. I jumped out and screamed to gtf off her. They turned to me and said she stole from us. I said idgaf it doesn't give you the right to beat her to death. One started walking towards me and I warned him not to come any closer. They continued to try to justify and the one closest took another step. I turned my body sideways to them and prepared to draw. I warned him his next step would be his last and to just leave. I really was right at that point. During this interaction the victim was able to run away the 5 of them decided to go elsewhere and got in the car and left. I went to check on the victim. One eye swollen shut broken orbital bone and probably some broken ribs. Police were called and took a report. Best we could do was basic description of them the vehicle and a partial plate. Victim was taken to the hospital. Later on at home after the adrenaline wore off and I actually felt nauseous. I can so close to shooting several people that day. I wasn't scared I was cold. By cold I mean I had already decided who was second and third target and had scoped out behind them. I don't know what the real story is but they did steal her purse. I do think the victim's life was in danger. I also think that 5 on 1 demonstrates enough reason to shoot. Thankfully I didn't have to and the victim was able to get away. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3h929Xq
